Avatar mean person/people when Idle

This for me is the mother of all bugs, and I would like to know if anyone has seen this, or can replicate it.

Since Rehearsal started, and around the time cyan was messing with the latency fixes, My Avie has the distinct urge to mean person/people and stutter, if it’s feeling really adventurous, it looses it form and collapses (.e.g. the avatar joints bend the wrong way), it looks kind of funny but painful at the same time. :twisted:

I’m particularly interested in responses from people using SLi Graphics for testing, and if you’re able to reproduce it using the latest and greatest nVidia drivers under windows XP, I see this problem with or without SLi enabled on the cards.

ResEngs suggested DX 10 as well if possible.

Any ideas at all at what is causing this would be grateful:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+
2x nVidia 7600GT (Usually running SLi Split Frame rendering.)
1x ATi Radeon X1300 (for Dual Screen)

Wow, that's bizarre! :shock:

I've not seen anything like that, my system specs:

Windows XP 64 Bit
AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+
2x nVidia 7950GT (Running SLI with the latest and greatest drivers)

Perhaps it has something to do with having both ATI and nVidia cards in the same system?

I get this sometimes on my machine, with no clue of what causes it.
It doesn't get as bad as the stuttering on the movie I saw but it gets bad.

Suffering from brainmelt, the solution to it, I found that works for me,
is to bring up the task window, find UruExplorer.exe and set the affinity
for cpu0 only. If both cpu 0 and cpu 1 checked
it goes bonkers after about 1/2 hour after logging in.
I have to do this every time, I log into urulive or rehearsal.

It did help me, if it will help you or not, I don't know.

I had this issue too. You need to upgrade your CPU drivers and/or install the Dual Core Optimizer.

Thanks Ian, it might have done the trick, been on rehersal a few hours and so far not seen any signs of the twitch.

Will see how it goes, for a while
