My Hackintosh's System Report (Mac OS 10.13.6 High Sierra) says my Myst Online app is a 32-bit app. It runs fine, but I understand that in the near future, Apple will change its OS to require 64-bit apps only. Is it planned to upgrade the Myst Online client to a 64-bit app? If so, when?

Planned, yes (whatever plans are worth in a thinly spread community of volunteers). Happening anytime soon, unlikely. Here’s some discussion: https://github.com/H-uru/Plasma/issues/34.

If you are using the MOUL Cider wrapper, that one will certainly no longer work. Whether a hypothetical 64-bit client would run on any other flavor of Wine on macOS is a completely separate question.

Wineskin and PlayOnMac are 64 bit.
