Sorry, Argentine is not currently on the list of Uru Live countries (Australia; Canada; Denmark; Finland; France; Germany; Italy; the Netherlands; New Zealand; Norway; Spain; Sweden; the United Kingdom; the United States).

Whoa! This is the first time I've seen this list of countries. It would sure help if this were publicized a bit more. Though I wonder why anyone with broadband wouldn't be able to use the same non-GT access method from anywhere in the world.

You probably had an email about it, Brett. From preview there is no non-GameTap access.

Is this an official list? There are also players from Switzerland.

Yes, it's an official list. GameTap's legal department and Cyan are both working hard to get the list expanded as quickly as possible, but at go-live, those are the countries where GameTap has been given legal clearance to release the game. The trouble is that each country in Europe needs to be dealt with individually, since many likely don't have trade laws governing the release of an MMO in this fashion.

Well, we'll all welcome you when Live does get to Argentina! And there will apparently be some sort of system in place (in the Ae'gura library, we think) that will allow players to catch up with events they've missed, so hopefully you'll be able to get up to speed.

I think the link still works - it's just that there's nothing obvious telling you that your account has been flagged as Uru-supporting.
