That's excellent Zirrus. Do you use Photoshop?

Great work Zirrus and C4d is a great program. In keeping with the Myst concepts, I would dirty-up everything... they look just too new. But I would love to have those glasses. :)

Yes I know. If you look at all of Cyan's renders, everything is aged and that's what gives the piece it's realism. But, maybe I could help you somehow with the copper texture. Let me see if I can dig up a nice, aged copper finish and, if your interested, maybe you could retry a render with that texture instead, and compare the results. :D

If anyone needs any tile textures I've got a collection I made over the years on my website. You're welcome to use any you like if they'll work. (I think some of them are watermarked, but if you email me I'll send you the ones you want without it.)

The link is here: http://bpgisme.com/galleryimages/design/index.html

I'd love to see anything anyone makes using these too! :) That would be fun!

Tyling always looks terrible, IMO. The reason why Riven, for instance, looked so rich was because Cyan used massive high-res textures - direct photographs of real material (rust and wood mostly).

I'm assuming they had to get some pretty good cameras to do that, but that's the simple reason why Riven looks the best texture wise out of all the Mysts - big, crisp photographs.
