Fellow explorers, CCN's Ruby O'Degee has been working fervently in her hidden alcove at the old CCN location. She has just completed a docu-drama on the dangers associated with the DRC's push to feed the lake algae. Her focus has been to interview a opposition group calling themselves the Guild of Guardians. There are other groups who are also asking the DRC for answers, including the League of Light. Still other groups are supporting the DRC whole-heartedly, since the DRC tells us better fed algae will brighten the lake. At great risk to her reputation and possibly her person, she brings you this vital information from her sources who, we understand, are also at great risk.

Some of that risk has come to fruition for them....

But this must be made public -- danger cannot be allowed to lurk, even while the lake is dark.

We should warn you that it is a full-length documentary, just over an hour long. It is a large file even as a streaming file on the CCN Website Homepage. The podcatcher feed and high quality downloads will take even longer. In addition, the streaming player may experience freezing and glitching that have nothing to do with the film itself. This is due to high volume on the site.

We ask that you be patient with this. For the most efficient use of your time, please visit the streaming file on the CCN Website Homepage. This will begin playing in a few minutes and allow you time to download the other formats.

The information contained in this program is vital. It is important for as many explorers to see this before you bake anymore pellets or believe any stories you are told.

Other file formats:

Feed for podcatchers and mp4 download.

High Quality .wmv formats, HQ (large 458MB), MQ (medium ~240MB) and
Low Quality (small flv 187MB). All these links on the

If you would like to preview the film, before you download click here

http://caverncommunicationsnetwork.com/urutales/episodes/moulepisodes.htm.

Then click on lower right arrow for episode options. Choose episode 7, and you will find the Bake the Lake film. It should start very soon after you click on it. Then if you want to store a copy, go to the snoop and load and pick one up.

If you want to participate in the community wide story that prompted the movie, go to http://forums.drcsite.org/ (the DRC site) and click on share the journey. Find a thread about pellets, League of Light, Guardians of the Lake, Guild of Guardians, or lots of others. Put yourself in the "cavern frame of mind" and participate. It's more fun than smores.

Some of the most talented storytellers in the D'niverse are over there making story, extending story and generally take a tongue in cheek poke at the DRC. There is also an Out of Cavern area where you can learn more about this kind of storytelling. Everyone is welcome. :D

EDIT: the "story" did not originate at CCN. CCN is a but a twig in this story that was told and is being told by some wonderfully imaginative explorers with some inadverent (or adverent) help from the DRC. CCN appreciates our being allowed to be part of the greater story, and would like to thank the creators publicly right here. Thanks for story!
