Total Spoiler
Make sure you still have your non-working relto book
Go back thru the maze and back thru the green linking book
You have to put the crank in the gizmo on the rocky beach
Then climb the ladder
The rest should be clear

Is there any chance a moderator type can make this thread sticky so people who come in later can also enjoy Norfren's wonderful adventure?

I know I'm going to be coming back and re-exploring it.

Seconded!

Thank you, Norfren and the community of explorers that have made this adventure so enjoyable!

Yes, this is truly a keeper!

And we can always use more of it. Hint, hint. And I'm not talking just to Norfren. :D

willic53 - it's been awhile but if you don't mind being spoiled go back and read some of the responses in the thread from the point where that portion of the "puzzel" was introduced by Norfren. A couple of our fellow "explorers" gave specific directions to those of us who had the same problem you've encountered. That is if I remember right.....

Glad you were able to finish the game. Now if the fan created ages that are currently being made come anywhere close to the fun Norfren created for us..... 8) I have high hopes for what MO:RE may bring in the next few years.

See you in the Cavern.... :D

Guys, I'am trying now to reproduce and write a similar Age you have seen in my Minkata story, here in the end-game. (Somehow I don't want to write a mundane Age with blue sky etc. - I prefer something unearthly, something eerie.) Unfortunately, it is a very slow process when making it alone in my spare time, with lots of experimenting, trial and error, without a precise description (haha - now Gehn is my mind). However, you can have a glance here at the current experimental Age.

Norfren, you've got some nice imagery there. :)

But, there is one thing I find very "disturbing" in a couple of areas. Some of the features that look to be made of stone or concrete could not possibly stand like that, with large unsupported masses where sections are broken away... Even something like structural steel or composites couldn't stand like that unless the gravity were some very small fraction of what we see on Earth. I suspect they couldn't stand even on the moon at 1/6 G.

As both an engineer and an artist, this sort of thing tends to pull me up short and breaks the spell. I'm willing to suspend my disbelief, but please don't force me to use a crane....

Great pics Norfren. Your age does have a very eerie feeling to it. Is that really a black ocean - or just one very humongus tar pit? Keep going dude - looking forward to seeing more.

Robin - I think I know which "arch" you are talking about, but I see no real difference 'tween it and some of the "ruined" arches in Kadish. Course I'm not an engineer so real world "knowledge" doesn't get in the way of my enjoyment of the view.
