Your question can be more the one sentense as long as there is only 1 question part.

Sorry that's 4 questions and the old man will now answer none of them. He will still answer a question, the question is what too ask?

Jasmine: "You seem stuck on this, maybe I can help!"

[Reveal] Spoiler:
Jasmine: "I think everyone had the same dream, I wonder what it means?"

Thanks, Jasmine - OK, everyone, shall we ask the old man what the dream means?

Ok I think we are in agreement.

The old man says 'Uh yes the ages are crrying for help. You had the dream cause you have been chosen as there 'protecters'.'

Jamie: "What!?!"

Old man: 'Yes the ages are alive! The subconscious of the inhabitonus come togeather to make a 'super eninity'! It is happening even on earth! '

Jamie: "If that's true how come we haven't been affected?!"

Old man: "I think you have, issen't you explorers who say 'destruction in comeing!'?"

Jamie: "Wow that fits in with the greet tree of possilblies mederphore too, since trees and leavs are alive! But I don't think 'destruction is commeing' means..."

Old man: "I told you I don't have much time, why do you think I only wanted you to ask one question I mean... you should be wise enough to figure these things out youself."...

Old man:"Annways there is a feeling in many ages that some horriable event will take place soon! (But far enough away that you should not worry too much about it yet.) This horribale event will be connected with the person or place that is Zaken. I will meditate on this and tell you more information when I have some.(Medidation is something I have to do anyways)"

And with that he closes his eyes and enters a trance. Is he talking about the generators, something else? Who or whaty is Zaken? Hopfully you will find out in a time.

Shall we head down the path to the generator?

You are by the outer door of the generator. On the wall is a hook with a rubber glove on it. There is also a keypad like at the other generatoers. There are several ways to solve this puzzle one a bit better then the other(but a bit harder to think of). I won't tell you weather you are doing the right one until you do it.

I assume the fingerprint reader will work on the glove as well as on the keys, but I'm not sure how that would help us - the person may have used the same finger to press each key? Still,, we might as well use the reader and see what we learn.

First time I heard of this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glove_prints

These gloves appear to be made of a matreal that leave no prints whatsover. Hmm if only there where a way to see what buttons where pushed. Maybe Jasemine can assist you.
[Reveal] Spoiler:
I've almost spelt the puzzle out for you, can you figure out how?

random thought s here: will there be someone coming along to check on the generator sometime? Could we hide and watxh to see which buttons they press? Is there a substance we could apply to the gloves' fingertips that would leave a stain on the buttons after someone comes to open the door? What do we have in our inventory, Narrator? i dont really remember but maybe there's something that will help?

ooh, Rhee, well done, I think you're onto something good here - how about we leave the viewer somewhere inconspicuous, placed so Jasmine can see what happens, while we all make ourselves scarce?

Great thinking ladies!

You place Jasmine's jemstone(veiwer) in a hidden place and leave the age. When you are gone a large man apporches puts on the glove and enters. He exits a fue mintes latter and links away. Jasmine notes that the code is 2-2-0-3-3-0*. You pick up the jemstone. Well done!

Now you can enter, so you do so. You ruporpse the machine and are standing in the generator room. You think you hear somone enter, turn around but see no one. Ther is a journal in one coner that you did not see on the way in. Also about 15 minutes have passed now and the old man may have some info for you.

* nerds may notice that the code is made of the common base address for old sound cards.

/me digs through her bag for an autograph book, hoping that Harry Potter is the invisible visitor and shouts "Gryffindors suck, particularly that lame-o with the lightning bolt forehead!" in the hope of flushing him out

Let's read the journal quickly and then go see if the old man has received any enlightenment!
