Yeah, that's kinda high still, though I don't want to lose a potential 'insider' just cause we're too thrifty!

Is there anything in our inventory he would consider for trade? That we're willing to part with, that is. Or perhaps since this man seems to be involved in the spy/information industry, maybe we have some knowledge he might be looking for?

Responding to Acron1:

Man: "How about 800?"

There is nothing in a invertory besids the boopies you can trade with. If there is some knollage you wish to share with him give the 'order'.

NOTE: This man does NOT work for the army.

We could trade the codes: but if word got back to the military that people knew their codes, they'd change them. So it may not be safe to let anyone else know them.

Can we ask him what sort of knowledge he's interested in, in case this gives us a clue as to what we could offer?

We can also ask him to reduce his price still futher - it's coming down nicely (if slowly).

I agee, so you won't do that.

You ask what sort of knollage he's interested in. He says "I will give you a 5% discount if you tell me some information about who you and what your doing here."

You also manage to reduce the price to 700 bp.

We can tell him some general info about us, I guess - we're explorers, from a world called Earth.

We know Alex Vancar - do you know him?

Also we have been told to beware the name of Zaken. Does this mean anything to you?

I figured you where from Earth. The soldgears are from earth.

Alax Vancar, yes hey paid 1 millen boopies for some codes. I do not care what side I'm on, only about the money. It's all
about the MONNNNNNNNNNNNNNY.

Zaken, no clue who that is.

That kind of information is worth nothing to me, since I probally told you more then you told me.

What else have you got?

We met some of the soldiers a while back - there was a dig and they were finding ancient artefacts. They might be valuable?

Do you know any friendly soldiers? The ones we met were not easy to get to know.

I don't know any freindly soldgears.

If you tell me where this dig site is, I will give you the item for free.

CAREFUL NOW! Your actions could have major concosis! If the salesman robs the dig site it could be a bad thing and it could huant you later on!

oh, well, if you reckon we shouldn't go there, Jamie - I guess we should just pay his price, we have the boopies and I've run out of ideas for getting him to reduce the price.

You pay 700 boopies for the fingerpinrt kit. It's too late now but you could have haggled him down(which I've heard is common in other countries). You also could have told him your mission. This might cause him to give it too you for free, since the thrert is great enough and effects everyone.

You now have 400 BP left and ...

Code:
You got the fingerpint kit. You can use it to see fingerpints and mesure there age.

OK; but if we had told him our mission, he could have sold us to the military - and/or put them on alert. Not worth the risk.

And we did beat him down a bit.

Ah well!

Can we use the fingerprint kit to get through the generator door?

Oh good point, I diden't think of that, I should have made his motives more clear.

Well you can't do it automigically, you take a sample of every key on the keypad and find that keys 9,0,1,5 and 4 where used most often. For ages: 9 was tuched most recently, 5 secound-most recently, 0 3rd most recently, 1 is the oldest. The kit also allows you to take your own fingurepints, so your own fingureprints on the machine can be ingored. I give my word as narrator that each number was only pushed once. WIth this infomation you should be able to deduce the code.

HINT: Like in math class 'showing your work'(though process) is allways handy. In this case for example, I will accept a wrong answer if your logic is correct.

OK, well, if no-one else wants to do this:

9 was touched most recently = 9 is the final digit
5 is second most recently = 5 is second to last digit
0 is 3rd most recently = 0 is third to last digit
1 is the oldest = 1 is the first digit

4 is not mentioned so presumably must be the 4th most recently touched - so is the second digit.

So this would suggest the order is 1 4 0 5 9

You assure us that no digits are repeated in the sequence. So I reckon this is the correct order.

We seem to have 'lost' Rhee.(tempororly). It would also seem that we lost most of the party on page 2. Me looks at the missing party members 'it's not too late to rejoin the party as if you where never gone!'

The code is correct, the door in the dune slidse open. You enter the door and it slides closed behind you.

You are on a catwalk above a pit whose buttom you can't see. There is a large machine not too far away. From here it looks like a large sphere with to smaller spheres connected to it. Occasionally lightning stricks the smaller spheres.

The stone that cummincates to Jasemine is verbrating.
