?tagam shem r'hertee = Do you know the numbers?

Nope.

tahgahm = I know —> tahgahmtee = you (plur.) know
shem = you (singular) —> shemtee = you (plur.) (redundant, implicit in tahgahmtee)
r’ = the
her = ??? (no word for “number” is attested)
tee = (plural)

As the Orz sample attests, there is no particular interrogative form. Thus:

?tahgahmtee re[number]tee

I got the word hehr from here -> http://www.guildofarchivists.org/archiv ... ;-dni-r812

So, ?tahgahmshem r'hehrtee ?

Maybe you can also correct the D'ni in the above picture. I'm far from versed in D'ni :)

Close, just ?tahgahmem r'hertee

What's the D'ni in the second Sudoku meant to say?

Yeah it is. Actually, it's the hardest one I could find :) So, a little unfair, but the best possible test of your programming skills! I once tried to create a Sudoku solver which didn't do too badly, but the I got bored when getting to the serious multi-step logical deductions. Very complex.

Cool. Title updated. Thanks! :)

The top like says Sudoku (sUDoKU). The second line says "It's simple for [the] D'ni!" (kenen tenTh k'D'ni).

I would write it sUDoKu Kenen ten kreD’nE
[Reveal] Spoiler: Breakdown
soodoku: in japanese it’s suudoku, so I’d write the first u long, the second short.
kenen: In Dnifont k is “kh”, while K is “k”.
ten: it already means “simple”. In Dnifont T is “th”, while t is “t”.
kh-re: you can put the article here.
d’nee: “D’ni”, and most words that end with “i”, actually ends with “ee”.

I’m still skeptical about “her”; it looks like one of those mistakes older wordlists sometimes contained. But let’s use it for now.

Also: it’s tahgahmem if you’re asking one person, tahgahmtee if you’re asking many.

Interesting. Well, the lesson here for me is that I'll ask one of you to check my D'ni in the future :)

Anytime :)
And, for those interested, there is a nice introduction to sudoku mathematics here.

NOTE: This Sudoku thing has absolutely nothing to do with this: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=27360

Honestly! I was working on the other thing and my brain went for a wander and pondered D'ni Sudoku so I made one :) I promise that you can infer nothing about the other project from this thread. Well, maybe one thing but its super obscure.

OK Uh the light finally went on and I finally realized the numbers are in D'ni! DOH!
At first I had thought the thread was talking about them being messed up in the sense of actual numbers having gone crazy!
