Black Moiety has been progressing lately. We recently had our second team meeting on Skype and pumped out some great progress. Above is a more finalized version of the Tikome hut that Chris Spencer did in March. Below is a painting our resident concept and art guy blackfoxx chugged out last night using water colours and gouache.

In other news, KathAveara and I have been working on developing the Rivenese language. Below are Kath's transcripts from Riven:

Other news:

We are currently updating the project to UE4.12. Hopefully this will resolve our light-building and packaging errors. Also we plan to completely redo the grass in the wetlands. Its just too high. We'll make it better, don't worry. It'll be worth it.

Just a final note, last night I saw it upon me to try to walk from one end of the map to the other. I started in the south-western edge of the Northern Wastes and walked in realtime to the mid Ashlands and I counted the minutes. It took me roughly 50 minutes to 1 hour to cross the whole northern edge of the landmass, give or take a few detours. So yeah, take THAT Skyrim! 8)

Interested in doing some modelling for us? We're in dire need of artists... and if you know Unreal, even better!

Join the forums and post a showcase of an object from Tay either based on existing concept art we've done (check out Adann's journal to see some rough sketches in the Journals section) or create something of your own!

Rules:

1. It has to believably Moiety - try to stick within the established art style that both Cyan and we have created. (Check our tumblr for inspiration at http://www.blackmoiety.tumblr.com )

...and that's about it! Feel free to submit just about anything that you think would work in the game's context. : :mrgreen:
