I've been playing around (moreso than usual, that is) with Photoshop, and here's some of what I came up with:

A different kind of portal

I caught this one in Eder Tsogal during it's short but amazing night (fine, Tsogal doesn't have a night cycle but it's still cool :P )

And this is a collage I call "Memories of MYST"

Wow, yea, that's one LARGE moon. I assume the tides on that planet are hellacious! :D

A moon that large and big would probably eventualy destroy the planet :P
But beautiful none the less

WOWEEE! Love the night shot, love the moon. And perhaps the moon is in orbit in a way that the tidal bulges are only in one direction all the time (like on Europa) so that there aren't any tides detectable to someone standing on the shore. As to the moon crashing into the planet--well, let's hope that takes awhile! Maybe it's really really not dense? Ah well, who knows? Good job!

The night shot is nice indeed, but it's the collage of MYST that I think is really impressive, especially as you've given the things pictured an almost dream-like quality which strangely makes them seem even more real. That collage is particularly effective in capturing that very elusive feeling of all the things MYST seems to have.

Ok, so this is more of a Myst photo than a picture.
Image
My IC blog is from the perspective of a photographer, and being a photographer I wanted to see if I could treat the ages as worlds instead of a game. That's the best photo in the blog so far, I think.

And no, I didn't need fly mode or whatever to get this. I just went into 3rd person, and zoomed in over my head with the scroll button to get the right composition. People keep asking me that.

That first that would be awesome subtle advertising if the Cyan shaped portal was on someone else's home and the person was looking at it puzzled.
