The Meeting Place (TMP) has been around for many years and it's full of kind hearted, open minded, intelligent and all around wonderful people. Their doors are always open to everyone and, since the first cavern closing, they have spread into many other virtual worlds including THERE, Second Life, Guild Wars, WoW...just to name a few. Yet, No matter what adventures call to them, Uru and the Cavern is their main home. They get together in THERE every week on Sunday (fundays) and you're all welcome to come and join in on the fun.

I refuse to read the previous posts of this thread, since I don't care to dive into whatever conflicts Kat has eluded to. It's not my place nor my business. Thought you might like to know more about the already established Meeting Place and offer another invitation for you all to stop by and check us out.

Using "The Meeting Place" was a mistake on my part.

It was/should have been, about the "Liaisons Meeting Place"

It's ok you don't know me well enough to know better. It's a common mistake. The spelling of my name Neile is rather different. I can see how the added D' would make all the difference in the world. I think even Marten made the same mistake long long ago.
It probably would have been easier if my name was Francis....

The Meeting Place MO:UL only googled 59 hits. Key words are very important. :wink:

I'm sorry if you felt like I was 'having a go at" you, that was not my intention at all.

I've nothing but the best of wishes for you and yours, with support for whatever y'all wish to accomplish as a team. Maybe you weren't aware of an already existing Meeting Place within the Uruvian community, maybe you were. I saw an opportunity to spread the knowledge of TMP and I took it. Sure, I coulda hounded you when you first posted about the Liason group...but why? I like what you're trying to accomplish and It doesn't matter if the two groups have the same names. It wouldn't be the first time that happened and I'm sure it won't be the last. Great minds think alike and all.

Well, IMO, it's been much ado about nothing. Just a simple misunderstanding and misperception about what the GoMe is doing and trying to do. They were simply trying to offer a service to other guilds and groups, but ended up accused of, well, to put it politely, "stepping on toes."

In a Dream? Probably not. TMP was my first hang out when UU opened. You probably just remember me from there. I use to hang out with Dot, and Maybe/Tomala terrorizing the hoods. I didn't change my name till Slackers Shard opened and I became Wutt Evah mod/admin there.
