With Blender 2.5 stabilising, and Lontahv's amazing patience at adapting to API changes, we are making very exciting progress on the next version of the Blender plugin.

Just a point about the KI flashlight and Gira

[spoiler]The original design had that in mind. You can't get all the green markers without visiting certain places. Remove the Kemo stone until the bahro cave is opened and the the player is unable to calibrate the KI. With the KI uncalibrated the flashlight is not operating. I know there are a few nuts and bolts that need tightening to proof such a solution, but the general works are in place.[/spoiler]

But we do! They are called instances, how hard would it be for Cyan or 'New D'ni' to throw in another Bahro stone
to the hoods linking chamber that links you to (OOC) a test shard that works in the sorts of Blue Mars or SL,

No.. We don't have a testing method. We're talking about things that, could, in theory, *break* the game, if not tested.

You DON'T do testing on the live server, unless you're severely lacking in intelligence.

Instances don't fix this, sorry.

EDIT: Also, Uru does not work like SL.

Also, what you saw in UU was ENTIRELY different, and not what we're talking about.

Kaelis is right. We need (and will one day get) test servers for the game from Cyan. Whether or not the fans are still here then is another discussion.
