We were thinking of adding MYST to our niece's birthaday presents. Only Can it be bought, saved to memory, like an USB stick, and then installed onto the ipod touch. Really a question for app. store but answers comes less filtered here i thought.

Nope, the app is bound to the iTunes account that bought it. You could perhaps purchase a gift card and tell your niece that it's meant for Myst. That would work.

I would have though that you could give someone an app like you can give someone music or video, but you can't. Looks like you're stuck with using a gift card or something.

Yes it looks like you get a "gift this item" button on everything except apps. :? seems to me they need to update that. . .Apps would be great gifts! ;) especially Myst !
