This is a wonderful multi-cultural, multi-lingual community.

I've run in to tons of Francophones...
and Germans...

GO FOR IT!! I'd love to see a multitude of languages going on in here...

If you speak French, I'll just have my husband translate for me...we are a bilingual home...(Half Quebecois and half Texan) and it doesn't hurt that I lived in Montreal for 3 years...

/wink

I sure hope the Habs do better in the playoffs next year.

Where's Kass?? (she's from your neck of the woods, I do believe)

KAAAAAAASSSSSS!!!

:D I was born in Montreal and partly raised in Beauharnois, Westmount and St Lambert. Our family place is till near St Agathe although it's a very long drive from where I am now. I have to struggle with grammar and syntax but I am more than willing to help where and when I can.

Kass, ma belle, where ARE you???

Avec des bons baises.....chaton  (cat)

Bonjour, je suis ne a Montreal. Maintenant je dehors a Gatineau.

LOL, I'm not bilingual but would like to try my best. Yes, one of the Anglophones of Aylmer/Gatineau who play URU. Ru'Hai is also a Gatineau resident and speaks perfect French, as I can attest to. Lovely to meet him and the others, above me here in this thread at the MMMM, Mini Montreal Mysterium Meet.

Well, I just got back from a trip to Montreal, does that count? I went for the Association for Symbolic Logic annual conference. Whew, if I don't learn anything else but just mull over what I found out there, I'll be happy. *brain explodes*

The conference kept me pretty busy, but I did manage to get about and explore Old Montreal and see the Biodome. (Even though it was pouring rain the whole time.)

LOL @ Owehn, well then we were in the same town. :) I went there this weekend too! Stayed at the Delta hotel downtown. We went to the BioDome early Sunday am. What AWFUL weather for such a beautiful city. Where did you stay?

I live 2 hours due West of Montreal, right near Ottawa.

We stayed at the Taj Mahal hotel. I don't remember what street it's on, but it was next to... a bunch of other hotels.
