And everything there redirects to that page now.

Curious… It's a puzzle of some sort, that much is clear.

Or perhaps they're moving sites? If the age is removed from histories, perhaps that refers to a browser's history in that the site has a new location and links will be changed. Living new with old breath could mean a new web host, or perhaps a studio or group (like Tetelestai said). These two together could mean that they're site is moving to a studio sponsored domain (like ellen.warnerbros.com).

one thing is interesting... if they were able to find a quote in the BoT that best says what they're trying to communicate...

... it just goes to show they know their stuff!! they might be Myst faithful... but can they make a movie?

if this is any indication that things are moving forward, the outlook looks good...

this sounds like something similar to gog.com's nifty lil stunt earlier this previous year...

well, gee, i'm REALLY glad i looked at their site YESTERDAY!! i hadn't been there for a bit and was checking things out and getting updated on what they've been doing.

something is definitely happening, i'd say...that's a pic so no source code to look at for tidbits of clues. the only clue is the message and i think that's pretty clear that there's been a change - a GOOD change - and that the project is moving ahead.

way ta go mysteriacs!!

The name of that image is "myst-the-motion-picture.jpg"

Not sure if that offers any enlightenment or not..

I am now really buggered. I thought that they would let us know about this at least a week before they shut the site down or move it or what ever. I remember the day the site went down for half a day and we just went nuts!!

It looks like history is repeating itself.
Exactly 3 years ago something similar happened.
That puzzle kept us busy for a while.
The pictures from that puzzle are here

note; some url's in the above thread are broken or do give the current picture from http://mystmovie.com/index.html

Thanks Vera.

Let's not go nuts speculating. But if this IS a puzzle, then it probably is something hidden inside the webpage.

Hoping its the big news. Myst movie = Myst interest = Cyan benefits = Good for us.

As far as 'inside' the webpage is concerned, there isn't much for code other than typical CSS classes and an image. Even the meta tags aren't special.

Right now it looks like the image is all we have...

The image doesn't have any encoded meta-data...

http://regex.info/exif.cgi?url=http://m ... icture.jpg

Are there any off-color pixels that reveal a code?
