1.to make known by words and body language one's displeasure at something

So if anyone knows the right word in english for the definition above, well that would be great to know

I'm not sure there's anything exactly equivalent in English (which is quite unusual) - bemoan, demonstrate and curse all get somewhere close though. I'm sure someone else will come up with better words

Yeah, for the English word 'pester', but Annabelle is referring to the French word, which is slightly different.

What about sth just as simple as 'complain or lament', this is her speciality and doesn't
sound as harsh as 'to pester' ... Yeah, she's always doing it in a graceful and sweet manner ...
