So, as a guard, can you take an arrow in D'ni agehn? or does some magic forcefield protect you from ever receiving such a wound again?

That's clever as all heek! I had better get to Whark on coming up with something as clever as that ;-)

And when you post agehn maybe your puns should not be so obviously marked.

A Sky... rimshot ...?

One thing is peculiar. There's no "grafitti" to be seen in the City, anywhere. That's been
found even in Pompeji [Italy]. Maybe it was d'nied and a punishable act against the law...

Veovis the pun police would exit this thread. Lighten up, please or I'll have to go to the grocery store's Exile and toss a few your way.

So back in the early days of MOULa there was an explorer whose favorite thing was to sit for hours on the railing of the Ferry Terminal, watching the waves lap the shore. One day her peace was ruined when a group of explorers with an obsession for all things nautical realized how many Ages had docks of one sort or another. They began organizing tours, beginning at the Ferry Terminal with a noisy hour long presentation on the ferry system in the cavern, and then on to docks in other Ages (Teledahn, Ahnonay, Relto, even Myst.) The excursions became more and more popular and they began to offer several a day.

Of course this was very irritating to the explorer. She tried moving to the top of the stairs or the balcony by the Library but it just wasn't the same. Finally she had enough. She linked back to her Relto and dug out the baseball cap from her wardrobe. The next day she went to her favorite spot by the ferry, gave her hat a good tug, then sat and contemplated the waves. No one showed up for the tour that day. Every day she did the same thing and amazingly it worked! The other explorers found other things to do and she was left in peace.

The moral of the story: A cap-pull a day keeps the dock tour away.

This is only moderately on-topic, but has anyone else here ever read Piers Anthony's Land of Xanth series? If you love puns, he's the man for you. the cornyness is epic! Some books are better (read: more punny) than others, but they all have a healthy (over)dose.

Uhoh, gotta go. the katran outside, gotta rescue her!

So nice to see Sharper wit show up here. I'll just snack in my mush room until I think of something punny to say.
Love Deck 15's story.

I confess I adapted an old pun my Dad used once to win a Worst Pun contest on the radio.
I stole it.
So Shroomie.

Sometimes when at Relto I get a craving for a cuppa tea, bread, cheese
etc ... I then always visit first Kadish Tolesa .. as butterflies there ..

Ok .. if that was really bad .. for desserts I go to Minkata ...

Know what I hate? When people just take stuff (like out of your garage or out of your office or out of your linen closet), and THEN ask, "Hey, can I bahro this?"
