I have transcribed (by ear) the soundtrack to the original Myst, for acoustic instruments:

While it isn't officially sanctioned, I do have Robyn Miller's permission to post it places. If anyone performs any of it, both of us would love to hear!

I have the soundtrack booklet, it just has the sound recordings copyrighted as 1993.

Cool that you did this, if I could play anything I'd try one

Since someone expressed an interest in it, I've arranged some for solo piano, too:

Myst Theme
The Tower
Compass Rose
Above Stoneship
Selenetic Mystgate

I plan to do this for every track I can make practical, though I'm focusing on the basic transcriptions for now.

Aaaaieeee! You are my hero! I don't have a piano at home, but when I go to work Monday morning, this will be played! (I am a music teacher, hence why I have a piano at work...)

My piano skills are mediocre at best, so I am limited by that, however, the voicing and such so far has been good. This is definitely motivation to practice piano more!

Whew! Okay, all the transcriptions for the Myst soundtrack are done. Next weekend, I'll deal with a couple consistency issues between tracks and see about compiling a single file score and parts for the whole thing. I suppose I'll arrange as many for piano as I can, and then...perhaps on to Riven! :)
