Well, yes and no, Alien. Tie-dyes have been around since (at least) the 1960s - but I haven't seen the particular pattern in Myst Online in Reality.

I have a tie-dye shirt in game, but it is a short sleeved one, not long.
One of the early rewards, I think.

Maybe I am not understanding what you mean.

As far as MystOnline goes, for some strange reason, male avatars get the short-sleeved version, and female avatars get the long-sleeved version.

I was talking about outside MystOnline, in the so-called Real World.

LOL! Should have guessed.
I have several real tie-dyed shirts too.
Some sleeveless ones for boating.

Guess it's the old hippie in me. :D
