Day 16: The A-Team.

NOTES: I should have totally used the A-Team theme in this episode! Didn't think of it.

Day 17: Double the Goggles to hide those frozen tears.

NOTES: Snow Rebel and a Snow Mobile? Cute, Lego. Very cute. (It's snowing yet again.)

Day 19: A Girl and her Dog.

Notes: The first torn door. SIGH.

We got a LOT of kids in this Advent Calendar. Of the usual 5, this is the first year of the City Calendar (of the Calendars I've bought) that has had 3 of them being kids. Last time I did a City Calendar, it was just two kids!

...They're Multiplying! 0_0

(Just kidding!)

This is the first time I've gotten one of the orby-rotating-things. It's an interesting little 'build', given that the central sphere is really two halves of a sphere, held together by nothing but friction from the outer casing.

[Reveal] Spoiler: Youtube Related Question
BTW, on a sort-of-OOC Note, has anyone noticed Youtube not sending out subscription notices from channels you're subscribed to? One channel I follow, I haven't gotten any notices from for almost three months now! @[email protected] I wonder if that's why my view count has been sporadic lately. :/

DAY 20: FIVE...Probe Droids building Snowmen.

NOTES: couldn't find a tie breaker. Both models were uniquely.... meh! Nothing extraordinary stood out between them.

FUN FACT: VLC Media player puts a Santa Hat atop their cone Icon for Christmas!

EDIT: ...Did I post this on the forum before the actual episode finished processing? ... SIGH, looks like. If it isn't working when you view it, just... give it a minute or three.

DAY 21: FOUR... shots a firing!

NOTES: I had way too much fun making up Jawa puns in this episode.

DAY 22: THREE... Chrome'd Antler Domes.

NOTES:

To a large degree, the Advent Wars video series was inspired by the Advent Madness done by Chris Doyle over on the Reasonably Clever site for many years. So, I give a nod to that in the opening of today's episode. While I've largely came up with my own visual style for these videos, there's still some traits that I've borrowed from the Brick House/Reasonably Clever comics; such as having outside 'observer' minifigures managing the calendar.

DAY 23: TWO... Ties in the Making.

NOTES: It seems weird to me to give the space shuttle AFTER the rocket boosters. If they'd done it the other way around, then today's theme would have been "TWO... Carriers a Carrying!" instead.

DAY 24: ONE.... Doctor, in the TARDIS.

NOTES:

I had a bit of a hard time rationalizing out the way to score the final tally. I didn't want to seem biased, but... eh... I probably failed in that regard.

Will I do this again next year? Maybe, if they do another Friends calendar, I'll do that instead of Star Wars. No promises, though.
