Servers will be coming down shortly for an update. With this update you will need to delete your Init folder in your MagiQuest Online folder (in My Documents) or you may experience some inconsistencies with your in-game settings menu. You should also delete your entire sfx folder in the game directory before you update to the current build as there have been many changes to sound.
Here are some of the new additions and suggestions on areas to test:
Font Changes to the ACA, Tools and Options Menus – Test the Option menus thoroughly for functionality and persistence. There have been several “Quirks” that recently appeared, so this is a great area to test on this build.
New Clan specific banners in their respective Courtyards
Book of Wisdom – The book has received text and functionality updates. Test rigorously during your questing.
Sound Changes – Some new sounds have been added and a few have been changed. Please continue to focus on any issues with sound that may seem odd or any sound effect that is incorrect (ie get the “fail” wand cast sound when casting on the correct object)
Improved Camera Angles – The “action camera” has been tweaked a little bit to better frame the object that is being activated.
Multiplayer is still under construction, but please continue to test and write tickets concerning Multiplayer in all aspects from basic functionality to Voice and Text Chat.
