But if the Owl used the word 'they', his words would be grammatically incorrect. 'They' is plural.

I would argue that the word is often used that way in informal speech, but we're talking about a (presumably) wise old owl here, so my only defense is that I was trying to suggest the simplest change in hopes of it actually getting done. :x

How about "it?" :P

I shudder at the thought of using "they" as a singular. The default for non-gender specific is (unfortunately) still masculine, Easy enough to rewrite-simplest I can think of is" A Magi has proven worthy to start the windmill" . OK, I don't like that. Is there any problem with using "you"?

"You proved you are a Magi who can open the windmill" or something on those lines?

If you don't get a response, post or PM your account name. I'll help you in the morning if I'm not back tonight (likely).

One tiny thing still bothers me a bit: the music in the Courtyards keps starting over again each time I move from one Court to another.

I didn't notice that this time, but then it occurred to me that I had run the music volume down to zero last time I played through. Yeah, that fixes the issue - but it's a shame to miss out on ALL the music as a result.

As for the Blind Old Owl... ;-) I took the time to listen to some of the other audio bits this time, and indeed, in several instances where a magi was referred to, the pronoun "they" was used. So if the Owl's phraseology was edited accordingly, at least he'd agree with the morphs, etc.

As for the new final video, bravo! Miss Hinton did very well in that one, and I much prefer this new story wrap-up.

I agree with the mentions made above RE: the camera angle in the Outpost cellar. I could see myself casting, but couldn't see the effects of my casts on the rocks, as they were out of the frame to the left.

Again, no show-stoppers! Great job to all,

Mowog

That little trick is going to be included in the FAQs until we figure out how to handle the music better.

And it's been said that the Owl is old, and maybe doesn't see so well. Odd for an Owl to not see so well, I know, but here we are... ;) It's possible he'll "wise" up eventually.

At least now he realizes his error, and retreats into the tree after his remarks, most likely to avoid being mean person/people out of that hole and roughed up by some of our lady magi!

If I'm not mistaken, didn't the owl have nose glasses on? Maybe the prescription needs changed.

OK finally got in without signing up to Face Book after reading these forums.
Just started and could not figure out how to type /afk to get to forum. After typing something i hit enter and an error statement showed up but only could see the "or" of error at left side of screen and the rest of error.
How do you type messages " I'm a newbie now"?

I'm in session 1 if any one would like to help me out.
Still can't figure out how to type any thing. I did figure out left mouse button runs and left and right buttons walk.
OK I'm learning read wrench ? and got info but you do not see what your typing and when you hit enter again name is off screen to left with message visible.
I've come out of game to see if different resolution will correct the typing.
Back in game and resolutions makes no difference typed words are off left side of screen.
Thx
