I have started this thread in response to some posts made in another thread. One of our fellow testers posted about getting a stack dump when trying to start the game. From the way the post was written its clear that the poster is not very tech savvy. The very next posts asks rather abruptly why the poster hasn't posted the call stack and says the thread is useless without it.

This not a helpful response. It would have been more helpful to have explained why the data in the stack dump is important and to have suggested that the poster should raise a ticket.

We are all here for one reason to help Cyan test their new game, we all have different strengths, knowledge and skills. One should be the willingness to listen to what others have to say and to provide help and guidance when it seems appropriate.
I suggest that if people are unable do this is in a polite and helpful manner it would better that they not bother to post at all as the kind of response described above just alienates people and does nothing to help Cyan test the game.
