Repetition?

Since I had an avvie reset, I needed to play though majestic again, and there was something that had been bugging me slightly from the first time around, so I had Eldest Daughter sit down and poke at it some... sure enough, she had the same reaction I had.

When you run around activating the 10 items for practice, you end up having to activate some of those again during quests. This results in cries of "AUGH! I clicked on that already!"

Did anyone else feel this way? I would't want to send in a ticket if it was just a personal preference

I didn't have a problem. The first time is a tutorial, the second is in anger. (Test / Production, that sort of thing.

Thats a odd reaction... At real locations some objects are used on multiple quests too, it really needs to stay that way here too.

In that way, when you learn where things are and how they work, knowledge and experience counts toward later Quests that get harder.

El, I had the same thought during my recent replay after a reset. I put it down to my uncanny ability to get myself turned around in online environments. I feel dumb when I do that, since a big part of exploration, as I see it, is to create a mental map of an environment as you explore it, and just remember where stuff is. More than once, I cast on an object a second time; but I don't really see it as a game issue. I think part of the problem here is that we're casting on identical objects in very similar rooms, and it's easy to lose track. Back in the old days (read, Riven), I'd have drawn a map and highlighted pertinent points of interest on it. I guess I'm getting old and lazy...
