Thank you, Veralun. I suspected as much, but only remembered one there. Your confirmation made me look a little harder.

Btw, note to Cyan: LUV the Twisted Forest, being able to run and jump on the rocks and trees, and in the water. But, there's no splashy sound. :( Please bring back our splashy sound.

LOL. I only found 3 flowers and gave up. My thoughts never connected to flowers in other realms. Man, I have GOT to learn how to play this game!

Really? I'm surprised at that. I saw the "sparkles" under the white block over the stream and figured that Pixie would fit nicely over those. I guess I put two and two together and got five, in this case

I don't think the pixie ring quest was completed due to MQ knowledge and not the log files. In MQ nothing tells you to go select another quest. The option is open after you finish a quest to explore on your own. You just say "hey, time for another quest", and then go there. when you finish a quest you end up with blank status with nothing to do until you start another quest. However according to the code in the game it may be different, I'm just speaking in "MQ logic"

I think the game logic is partly as you describe the RL version (it's difficult to say for sure as we don't really have any examples in the game that are known to be entirely working as intended  ):

This is what I believe is intended:
Each Quest Stone hosts a number of sub-quests. Once you complete one of those sub-quests you're told to return to the stone to collect the next mission. You cannot activate another (different) stone until you complete all the sub-quests of the current one. When you do complete them all, then you get a blank status and can choose when/if to visit another quest stone. So, between Quest Stones it works like the RL game. Once you start with a stone, MQO is a bit more directed.

Yes, I was in the same boat until I appeared to have found 'Pixie' and the text in the Quest bar changed to 'Return to the Quest Stone' - but, I am unable to progress further because I get a blank screen when I click on the Quest Stone - I'm desperate to know if anyone has been able to get the next quest.

I think that's the limit in the current build. There is obviously the potential for many quests in the Forest, and some may be part built already, but I guess Cyan will want to keep the scope for bug reports reasonably constrained so they don't get pulled in too many different directions. There many more "bug finders" than there are "bug fixers".

For the intelligent who rightly fear CTDs in the path of death, the Cautious Optimism meter has new symbols replacing the blanks.

At least one should look familiar.

That's where I'm at. As a note, did anyone have trouble clicking on the Pixie? I didn't get the "return to quest stone" after clicking her several times, but I did when I clicked the chest near her.

That sounds like she hasn't been enabled yet, which is possible.

I started this update with: Find Pixie.
When I saw Pixie, I did cast on her and than my box said: Return to quest stone.
So I think she must be enabled.

It might possible that casting on something else would give me the same message.

Ah, good! You are talking about the little fluttering faerie folk, correct? My experience was like most of yours, I imagine, in that I could click them, but my quest status didn't change until I'd gone back to the Clan Courtyard and returned later.
