That is the message I get now when I try the patcher. ??? Got a lot of free space so don't believe this is the case. I avoided trying to get online for a while to let others in, but would like to get there now to hep my Hood members. Any thoughts?

Did you try to connect multiple times?

Cleft - One of my Dutch Mystfriends fellows - gave us a tip.
When doing so:.
Use Ctr Alt Del and go to the taskmanager,
End the Urulaucher process still present ther first there. It keeps on hanging there a bit.
So on your next attempt you might see two Urulaucher tasks there otherwise.

Which flavour of Windows are we talking about here? XP, Vista, Win7?

I don't know about the patcher, but I've seen some applications send a "hard drive full" message when it really means "target folder is read only", so I'm just wondering if it's some issue about permissions.

It usually caused by Vista/Win 7 U.A.C. not allowing the patcher to delete the old patcher executable and replace it with an updated one. To solve this problem close the open patcher, right-click the patcher shortcut (or executable) and select "Run as Administrator".

thank you Henry i was on line with one of our chat room"customers' for some time today trying to sort out this exact issue and in the end, after help from cyan support, he is in. And tho i dont know the details from his end, i think he did exactly this. Another fix to add to the list, and now it looks like everything is runninng well.

btw, Henry i love that short poem

which my sleep deprived mind parses as>......

but for now
I am I

love that sentimient he expresses :)

The issue is gone as of the lastest build. Replied (I thought but the reply never showed up here  ) to say I was using Win7 and had run the launcher with Admin Permissions, so that wasn't the problem.

Anyway, all is now running smoothly. Thank you all

Kate
