OK, after much mental ado, I have a proposal:

We begin at the Ferry Terminal in the city at 14:00 KI Time. After some ceremony (welcoming, acknowledging bahro, whatever other things we share) we dance for a bit, and then at 15:00 KI Time we move to the Hall of Kings. More ceremony, welcoming, sharing stories, dancing (running amok) and at 16:00 we move to the Library. More ceremony, sharing, celebration, dancing, etc, etc, and then at 17:00 KI we either move to another part of the city or to Kirel. I do like Kirel. It is brighter, cheery, and the balloons and colorful shirts are so very nice... I don't mind that there is no water in the fountain. The garden area is fun.

I feel that the museum is a bit too small, Tokotah Plaza is used by lots of people, and the Watcher's Pub is the venue for other kinds of parties. So we could 'mummer' around and avoid either boredom or getting in the way of other activities. We would also spread the cheer.

We could move to Kirel earlier if the city started filling up, or to a Neighborhood (Bevin). If people know where to look in the nexus, they should be able to find us by the number of people there. And in the city we are in the city regardless of the location.

What do you all think about that?

Tai, I hope you don't mind that I borrow your idea for KImail... It was a good way to spread the info.

Is their a way we can stretch this party out from Saturday or to Monday for the Superbowl fans

Or perhaps we can have a Half Time Party

When you're the only one in your family who cares about uru, and Super Bowl is a big event, you'll be wishing they weren't at the same time. This and the olympics are the only times i could ever miss an Uru party for a sporting event.

I couldn't help host it, as I've now scheduled other things for both days, but sure, keep the party going. The Cavern celebration is international, so starting later on Sunday isn't really a fair option. Ending later might be, however, if music and refreshments keep flowing! You'd have to talk to the D'niJ(s).

On the other hand, I, personally, am always happy for yet another reason to dance. What time is the game and when might half time be? If no one at the celebration objects to a bit of /cheer or /shout or /jump or /dance2, c'mon down and join us for a while!

Yeah, I'm glad that I'm not missing the 'Real Thing' so to speak, as 10:00 pm my time
on a Sunday evening is absolutely too late for me having to wake up early on Monday... :P

On the other hand 02:00 pm in the afternoon in the US is already quite early to start
a party so that I can understand this as being close to the bone already and a gentle
appraoch to all those rest of the world Uruites lol... Not everybody has to wake up early
on Monday or some even don't care and celebrate through the night haha...

So, I'm wishing you all an awesome, exuberant and delightful party and time... /wave... :D
