Hi everyone, I am back in cavern after suffering a heart attack back in April. Thank the Lord for bringing me through this life changing event.

I have no plans to get back into the dance party music but will start streaming music on Friday evenings in cavern starting at 17:30KI time. It will go to at least 20:00 and longer if participation warrants. Most times it will be a good mix of music but on occasion I will feature one or two artists or feature a theme such as blues, Jazz, classic rock, etc. You never know what you are going to hear as my music library has grown to over 30,000 tracks and I am still adding to it.

This Friday's (August 12th) program will feature the music of 2 groups that have been around for a long time. Crosby Still & Nash and Jefferson Airplane/Starship. Another Friday has come and gone and we approach this Friday's Music-August 26th. This week I will be featuring a history of The Moody Blues. I will start with some of their music from 1965 and go in order of release till past the year 2000. So it will be to your advantage to be there at the beginning to get the full scope of their career. This coming Friday Sept. 23, I will be playing 4 "Perfect" Albums. It has been a very difficult task to choose what albums to play as there are several albums that fit this category and even more if you consult people from different generations. OF course I have chosen from the 60s/70s era. I have changed my mind several times about which 4 albums and it is quite likely that I will change my mind again.......but in the end the music will be of great quality and enjoyable. As always the music will start at 17:30 KI Time and go till completion. (Approx 3 hrs.)

Moving into October the next Friday Night Music, October 7th, 2016 will ffeature 3 hours of songs covered by artists other than the original. It should be an entertaining show. I would also at this time like to extend a big thank-you to Spatialkay for her help in picking the themes and the music for our shows. So when you are in cavern listening to the show please know that Kay deserves your thanks also. The show starts at 17:30 KI Time and will run about 3 hours.

Well Last week we had the most listeners since we started Friday Night Music. It was very encouraging. This week (October 21) we will be featuring the music of Bob Dylan in honor of his recently winning the Nobel prize for literature. It was hard to limit the music to a 3 hour show as Bob Dylan has released 37 studio albums but I think that we have come up with a great show with at least 1 song from each of 36 of those albums. (we omitted any songs from his one Christmas album). As usual the show will begin at 17:30 Ki Time.

This coming Friday November 4th our show will be all about Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel. We will start with a few songs from when they first started and called themselves Tom and Jerry. Then we will have some songs from the solo career of Art Garfunkel, followed by many of their songs as Simon & Garfunkel. The show will finish with several of Paul Simon's solo songs. It looks to a great show and one not to miss. Hope to see you there.
