I am sorry, pokemon71096 and Slump Virus.
I am not so good at English.
Therefore I sometimes use the translation site.
A meaning does not go unless I translate it well, and there is a threat that it causes misunderstanding.

>What do you mean by "does not last"?
I am sorry.
This was the meaning "that I did not hold a Japanese edition of MYST".
I do the expression that is not appropriate and apologize.

By the way, I played realMYST and DS MYST.

Okay.
So you already have played myst and realmyst. Would you still like to have my Japanese copy? I've looked into it, seems it would only cost me like 3 dollars... if it took forever to arrive at least. So I could do that.
My sister bought it from some website which she does not remember the name of. It was clearly a scam. According to some small print on the case, it is not legal to sell or even play outside of Japan. The very smallest letters on there in fact. So it really does belong in Japan.
It was quite interesting playing it in Japanese when I hadn't ever played Myst before. (I saw a little of the game when my father borrowed from a friend, but I was very young at the time. I'm not much older than the game's release date.) I used my imagination to determine what Sirrus and Achenar might be saying. So I sort of have these alternate and bizarre instances of the story in my mind.
I assumed that the actors must be brothers, but my main theory for the game was that they were the same person, but the blue guy was older and clearly more tormented. The red guy sounded like he was talking about something related to what he was doing or planned on doing. Not knowing the possible consequences of his actions. This makes sense, if you know that I just assumed that they were recordings, getting more of the message with each page. I didn't realize they were actually people who could see me and were talking to me. It was all much more eerie, because I had no idea what was going on. I eventually had to look up a walkthrough, because I needed to know to use pattern 158, and also I couldn't read those directions to get the white page.
I hope that all translated alright.
By the way, it seems it interpreted Rime into LIME.

Thank you for a reply.
I reply again, too.
I apologize if I do not answer your question definitely.

I have played Japanese edition MYST about 10 years ago.
This was released in Japan.
Here, Sirrus was older than Achenar.
There was considerably the translation error in this way.
Therefore my Japanese friend did not like to play with a Japanese edition very much.

Not only words but also the lifestyles are different abroad.
I have a lot of things which I must study.

This is a digression…
I wish realRIVEN or 3DS MYST is released.

3DS Myst is a far better idea then releasing it on the original Nintendo DS! :D
i'd imagine it would improve the resolution considerably. it would help if the DS had larger wider screens though.

realRiven is an idea i'm sure many have had (including myself) ever since realMyst was released. that is, Riven in real time.
the graphics of Riven were realistic enough. but to have Riven in real time 3D is supurb. i'm not sure if Cyan would be willing to commit to remaking the entierty of Riven to do that however, but i wonder who would?

and OHB! what's the word on Japanese translations for BabelBot and ULP and such? how's progress on that comming along? have you managed to overcome any of the hurdles yet? demolishing the language barries is essential to making URU truely international. there are scant few east asian explorers in Myst Online. translating those languages would be astounding and very helpful for bringing in explorers from far and wide!! :)

Toki meets you as you say.
You remember it, and I am very glad.

Do you remember 250rider.jp?
I was taught the up person of the bridge by him.

Let's meet again in Cavern!

Chiro and Toki

I am so pleased 250rider.jp is still around; He is on my buddy list & I still have the picture on my KI of my legs dangling from the tent. hahah.
We must meet up and I will try to understand more than my one single word of Japanese... May be you will teach me at least some form of greeting so I am not rude? I will add Toki so that I can see when she is in the cavern.

My Favourite Japanese Film

I am a little bit confused, sorry. You are saying that you don't want it right?

edit: oh, I think I understand everything after reading it again.

See you in Cavern!

Kana
Ae'gura
吊橋から下方に見えるterrace(?)

Cavern

Thank you for a reply, everybody.
I read a reply of all of you.
My answer became slow and is sorry.

To Slump Virus
I am always not so good at English and am sorry to confuse you.
I intend to receive your light of your countenance.
What should I have done to receive your light of your countenance?

To morning satellite
I introduce some of Japanese greetings.
Nice to meet you → expletive
Hello → konnichiwa
God morning → ohayou
God night → oyasuminasai
Thank you (very much) → arigatou(gozaimasu)
I am glad to meet you. → oaidekite totemo ureshii.
Good bye → sayounara
See you again → mata oai shimashou.

Well…
I came to think that Japanese was more difficult than English recently 8)

Long long way to go, and my first step on that was: Afro. lol
btw, OHB, I keep getting "Invalid email address or password." error when I try to log into ULP.
And it seems that I'm not receiving mail to "complete the sign-up process,” after I reset my password.
Can you tell what's wrong?

And thank you Main_Avvie for your advice. I cannot run so I'll walk at an easy pace.
Are you on ULP too? It's fun to see, while I'm working on a term, what it is called in other languages. :D

Toki
