Hey, I looked around the site and this looks very interesting. I'm just wondering though, what are the specs required to run it? Graphics card, ram, etc. If my dumb old Compy can handle it now I'd love to give it a try. If not it'll be a month or so after I get my new one.

I'm checking to see if it will work on my laptop right now. I will let everyone know. Here's hoping.

EDIT: Mac is still at the coming soon stage.

Bpgism: According to what I've read, yes, there is more coming.

OMG! HOW DID I MISS THEIR LINK to the new website?
It will show screen shots and give much, much needed encouragement for Uru refugees.

Thanks so much, Nynaveve!

http://www.didanka.com/ahrapahts/

"Ahra Pahts is an Uru Age written by explorers, a vast city built for explorers to enjoy, and for other Age creators to come and participate in its evolution.

Unlike other Uru Ages Ahra Pahts is an Age built and constantly updated by its residents. Centered around the high Hub building is an expansive network of streets, courtyards, rivers… and “shells”’. Those shells are the empty parts of the city that anyone can own, to build a house, a large building, a garden, or something entirely original. If you know a little bit about Age creation or if you are willing to try, join the Ahra Pahts city and build something of your own; your personal space in the new D’ni universe.
And participate in the largest and most diverse of all Ages.. "

*Interesting directions as I assume one must have Uru loaded. I thought I had installed the Ahra Pahts download.
Anyone else have, perhaps, the single player Uru loaded? How did this work out for you???

"Ahra Pahts v.0.8.9.5
====================

To install the Age extract the content of this zip file in your Uru directory.
(If you have installed a previous version of Ahra Pahts make sure to delete all
the files from the previous version before installing the new one).
(The default installation directory for Uru is:
C:\Program Files\Ubi Soft\Cyan Worlds\Uru - Complete Chronicles)

If this is the first time you install a custom Age for Uru CC you will need to
install Uru Library Manager. You can get it, as well as the instructions to use
it at this address:
http://alcugs.almlys.org/wiki/index.php ... aryManager

Once the Age is downloaded and set up you can find it in you Relto ULM book.

If you have any questions come to the GoW forums.

~ The Ahra Pahts team

Enjoy!
Now I need to register there, also!
There is a download available on that page...

That Ahra Pahts thing really strikes me as something nice. It would be cool to see it incorporated in some sort of online form.

If you guys get the opportunity to explore Ahra Pahts, you really ought to. It is HUGE and really amazing to see! :) The best part is that you can reserve a shell for yourself and build your own part of the city if you want to. The Maintainers have one reserved (Shell 121) and we will be adding our own unique touches to Ahra Pahts. Additionally we are working on some more ideas that we might be able to use for other Shells.

So come on over and take a look... the spirit of Uru is always alive!

One question about Ahra Pahts. Is it single player, or multiplayer?

This installment of Ilathid is very certainly non-multiplayer. It is impossile to run it this way. (Though at several points in the game, you'd wish it was possible).

HOWEVER, a cross-over with Ahrea Pahts wouldn't hurt. In fact, our storyline has a part which can be made into this. Unfortunately, I don't have URU:CC so I can't run it myself.

Look guys, What we need at this precise moment is not testers, not even modellers or animators or designers. We need dedicated Myst fans. Our problem is simple: we have a huge volume of data which has been blown to smithereens years ago. It is back, thanks to the commendable efforts of our staff, but it is completely out of place.

So this project is now open to ALL MYST FANS who desire to help putting this data back in place. It's just a wiki, a simple wiki, that has to be organized again. But there is a lot of data. Please PM and apply at our forum. It will be fun :) And, while this is not new, it is certainly helpful:

And, oh, ony one person has ever managed to run it into a Mac. This is not for lack of trying, it's a lack of programmers.

I am putting info about the Ages of Ilathid project in my next email newsletter. I will try and contiue to put that in as the list grows. As well as info about Ahra Pahts. I think both of these projects will bring hope and comfort to a lot of people. Who knows, together maybe we will find a way to make a home. :D

Wow! This looks interesting. It does look like somewhere to go if MOUL doesn't live on as a fan project after April.

Questions:
1. Echo Lynutte's. Is it multiplayer, or can it be, will it be?
2. Is there other stuff like this around? Are there other candidates for us to go to?
3. Will there be a Mac version?
