Actually I did pm a mod that was not online the other day about a spam message. I was pretty amazed, it was only 10 minutes latter and I got a message it was taken care of. Great response time considering the mod wasn't online.

Well, he might be talking about ABM/CC. On the contrary I know the described bug only from Beta ... And he is in the Beta usergroup (page 9)

luckily he didn't say anything about it actually being in the beta, so even though we know he is, other's won't and think he's just got a bad install of ABM or CC... :roll:

This was the thread I couldn't find first thing this morning. :roll:

This reinforces what I was trying to say about not having a mod available at 8 am GMT to move misplaced posts like the one referred to. It doesn't matter which mod I PM - all of the native English-speaking ones are in the US and none is on the boards at 8 am GMT.

There was a post following the original, warning the poster about violating the NDA. I find that amusing because publicly warning what violates the NDA is a violation of the NDA itself. Unless it's just a guess, which I think it was in this case. So it follows that to publicly and innocently profess knowledge of the NDA is to profess ignorance of it. What a shame I can't actually say that in a public post! I love this stuff.

Just an FYI....

I get email alerts when I receive a new PM. It wouldn't surprise if if the other Mods did to. Just because one of us isn't listed as 'online' doesn't mean we can not be reached.

Also, my status online was set to 'hidden'. I do this on occasion ,along with my Messenger status, when I want to catch up on my reading and must have forgot to set it back. oops :oops:

Even Cyan takes the weekend off, and while I understand the importance of catching these mistakes as soon as possible, I think we've done a fairly good job ( with your assistance...Thank You

) at keeping up with these posts.

I did go hunting when I saw the offending thread and subsequent post.

The problem with your suggestion, whitch2, is that I don't know which mod would see this soonest, and I can't PM you all.

Can a European mod please be given the ability to move problem threads from public to private?
