Problem: trying to log in fails with "Invalid Password"

Reason: the authentication server is reading your old cached details and not your new account details

Fix: uncheck the Save Password box, type your email address instead of your account name, (re)type your password, check the Save Password box, click on Ok.

Ok... what happened?

What happens if you don't put the Save Password check back on at the end?

Ok what I tried

my Username and Password with save check selected
my Username and Password with save check deselected
yields incorrect password

deselecting save check box, deleting password information and then deleting username. Inputting the email the accoutn info was sent to followed by password gives a 'no account found'

deselecting save check box deleting password info and then deleting username and putting the originals in gives incorrect password.

I've tried both methods but doing the deselect password before the account information being entered

You have to be using your email address now. Did you change it at some point after you registered with Cyan?

You might need to raise a support ticket on this to find out what account details they have for you.

Usernames have been disbanded, just use your e-mail address to login.

It was from a mailserver they hadn't used before. I had to fish something out of my hotmail junk too.

I am having the same problem.Your password is incorrect, make sure your caps lock is not on! The activation code won't work, in fact none of it works . I have sent 3 support tickets, to no avail Wheelie

Hi, Wheelie. When did you register for beta? This fix is only relevant if you initially used an account name and password to log in. Everyone has to use email address and password now.
