i cannot get connected at all
i have posted tickets but still not been able to connect this problem has been happening for a few weeks now

SOLUTION.

I went to Gametap. I signed up for the 99 cents deal. I downloaded their URU beta software.....but didn't need to because they said I already had up to date game. I went my desktop, logged in with my Gametap name, and got in, created an real explorer....

It's always about the money. :)

Same here. Started after last week's vault wipe. This only happened to the first avatar I created, and only after Logout (not Exit). Exiting and relaunching game changed the avatar to Explorer. Subsequent avatars have been assigned as Explorer. I don't see any problem with my GT account.

Same problem here...Yesterday I wanted to visit Uru, but no possibility to log in. The only option was to log is as visitor...
I will retry to log in today....

No problems loging in. But a few minutes ago I created a new explorer for multiplayer testing of the ages but it got registered as a visitor. For the first time I noticed there is no option to delete visitors!! :shock:

I have the same Problem.
After the last Update i can only login as an Visitor! The Gametap site is not available for me :cry:

I have sent a ticket and everything about this problem. but everytime I try and log in it always sets me as visitor.

I got a response on my ticket regarding the visitor bug. Tech support says they are not receiving the log files they need to track this down. Everyone please go to your open ticket on this and add a log file next time it occurs!

Send log files with the ticket? The problem is that new log files are not produced since the last update

Well I just tried again to send my ticket in with the log.

I click submit and it gets to the end on the little green bars and then it just hangs there forever.

Yes I did zip the log:)

I never have any option but visitor whatever I try and if I quit, logout or ctd the visitor wont play when I log back in, I have to delete it and start over.
