 Post subject: Login Fails

I tried logging into URU this evening and my memorized user name and password were blank. I've tried every user name and password combo that I have ever used and I'm still getting an incorrect password error dufing login.

HELP! I want back in.

I've seen the blank password details screen. I'd been on D'mala a short time before, and it looks like entering details there wipes the details for UL.

Are you using your GameTap id and password, efredian?

I have been using the same userid and password since October when I got into the beta. I just don't remember if I had to add a new password when I signed up for the Gametap Uru closed beta. And I can't find any emails from Gametap notifying me about my membership.

I have used the 'forgot user name/password' link on Gametap, but have not received any emails regarding a reset.

I just reset my URU Support password and that worked okay, but so far that has had no effect on getting into the beta.

Called Gametap, but they said all of the beta staff is off for the weekend.

Look, you can't have been using the same username and password since october. The server switchover was either in November or December. You now need a GameTap account. If you didn't set one up when the e-mail went out quite a while ago, then there's no hope unless you already have a GameTap account or are going to create one. Sorry.

Thanks Maratanos, but I did set up a Gametap account and have been using that since the beta moved over there. As I mentioned previously, I have contacted Gametap, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to get anywhere until Monday because the 'beta' guys are not in over the weekend.

efredian, you should have an email on 18th November with the initial GameTap cutover details, followed by a mail on 28th November as a catch-all.
