I have ticketed 62 issues, all of which I had not seen posted on these forums at the time of submission. I did not see any point in overflowing the ticket system. Apparently this is the wrong policy to get chosen for rehearsal. Oh well...

I have seen people claim to have submitted multiple identical tickets. I do hope this will be taken into consideration.

On the other hand some of us had the advantage of getting into beta early.

Anyway, a plain count does not seem right to me. Just my 2 eurocents.

I only submitted less than a dozen tickets myself, but that was mostly because the game always ran very well for me, and the bugs I did file were ones that everyone else seemed to be ticketing as well.

As for rehearsal, to be quite honest, I'd rather pass, and experience things as the unfold. I still remember quite vividly the thrill of logging in each day to find the DRC had removed another set of barriers. I am very much looking forward to recapturing that sense of wonder again! :D

I'm with Malia. If you want a beta testing job once we go Live, you are more than welcome to it. As for me, I'm going to enjoy the fruits of your labors. Do a good job or you'll be hearing from me! :D

I wrote down every bug big or small I encountered and sent it in with what I thought was the right priority. I closed several of my tickets if the bug was related or identical to another.

Just to clear something up, I don't want to be in rehearsal. After being in Beta and experiencing this, with Live starting up again I'm ready to go back to just playing the game, not writing bug reports on it or finding things wrong.

I would suspect that the quality of the tickets would count as much as the quantity. I never actually counted and don't plan on starting now. By the time I got here most things had already been resolved.

I too don't know how many tickets I submitted. But I got in after most were gone, at least for my computer. Beta has always ran well on my computer.

First, I think you had to ask to be a part of Rehearsal. GD said as much in a post a few weeks back, IIRC

Second, I'm sure they will be trying to evaluate the value and quality of the bug reports, as well as participation in the community, so sheer numbers don't mean much.

Third, sure it's work, just like beta testing is work, and there are rewards as well. If you didn't like the beta phase, you probably won't like Rehearsal either.

Oh, and I have 48 tickets recorded in my journal, most of which were answered with "We already have that in our databse".

I hate to say this folks but i really do not see the point of the thread apart from allowing some claiming of bragging rights. If Cyan are using the number of bugs submitted as a criteria for offering invites to rehearsal they already have a league table prepared so I dont think they need any help from us on that score. I also think GD misspoke when he posted and there was a second clause to the number of bugs posted and that was 'and quality of'. Since that was posted some time back when the issue of what happens after beta first came up and the criteria for selecting rehearsal testers was discussed. If it was'nt so late I'd go find it but I'm heading for bed 1.00 am here and I think this will be locked by the time I get to look again.

Personally if I'm asked it will be great honour but I'm satisfied that I've in a small way already helped to get the wheels back on this.

/shrug.

I didn't submit many bugs, and I'm not terribly eager to go to Rehersal. Now that LIVE is out, I would like to enjoy it and see the suprises.

While I haven't ticketed many bugs, I do feel I helped find weaknesses in the game structure through group raids with MUSIC. I only ticked bugs that I personally experienced, and am hoping I might at least be considered. I would love to continue squashing bugs but realize how limited the admittance is.

I too wish and hope that I will be allow to continue with the enjoyment that I have found during the Bug hunt But if it is not to be then...

Maybe this will explain it...

I Sigh, I Fly. I Cry

There are many reasons for the heart to fly,
for the mind to soar and to go high
for the soul to laugh and then to sigh
but only three reasons exist to cry
happiness, sorrow, and fear, I will not lie
the only things that cause the mind to die
no more, no less will bring sorrow nigh
only those three, on that you can rely

I Sigh, I Fly. I Cry

Happiness, too much within the witches brew
and that is what was felt when I found URU.
I was able to walk and run the story through
though in real life that was no longer true.
But of even greater happyness was a motley crew
of the freindships that I was allowed to persue
within Myst Live I found challenges to subdue
With the help of the army of freinds that I knew

I Sigh, I Fly. I Cry

Now the sorrow of loss can drive you mad
leaving, temporarly, or permenantly, is so sad
even though despair is there, I have more to add
For the GrayDragon brought great hope to this lad
with promises of new content on the sketch pad
and the possibilty that even I can create is rad
so the sorrow evaporates and my heart grows glad
and I am ready for the new puzzles to be had.

I Sigh, I Fly. I Cry

Fear, you don't know how, you sigh and panic
new lands and people to explore in subvolcanic.
some puzzles so hard, were almost satanic
the difficulty and challenge almost titanic
subdueing us and driving us almost manic.
but help was there, even from transoceanic
now Rand Miller has become almost messianic
with the Games and challenges for the romanic.

I Sigh, I Fly. I Cry

your emotions, let them be free, let them fly
show your feelings, don't be afraid, don't be shy
Happyness, laughter, fear, anxiety, sorrow, you Cry
The beta is over, now the real thing grows nigh...

I Sigh, I Fly. I Cry
