Live Servers Down

The servers are down for now and its unknown how long they will be down for. We'll give you an update as soon as the issue is resolved and logins are being accepted.

The servers are back up! Logins have been allowed for a while now, but I just wanted to make sure the servers had stablized before making this post.

Unable to connect 0700 through 0712 UTC.

Gametap starts as normal, URU videos play as normal and loads to to Explorer selection screen. When trying to proceed past this point, I get:

There has been a network error. Please try again. If problem persists, please contact support.

With only an OK button, when clicked I get:

UNTRANSLATED: SetActivePlayer failed: Vault node not found.

and another OK button. Clicking that closes URU and returns to gametap.

Hope this information is helpful.

I can create a new character and then play the game but if I try to play my original character then I get the error that the poster above gets.

Bummer if I have to start over again.

ok this makes sense. I was in the Uru game this morning then logged out got back in I had no books on my bookshelf, had everything else in relto. When trying to log in again I kept getting Authetication failed.

by Eric Anderson, the programmer, there is trouble with the vault. That is what holds your avatar info. So, yeah perhaps there is a problem with the older avatars. Until that's fixed, just create a new one, and play along. It doesn't mean that the old avatars are gone forever. It's only a temporary weekend thing.
