A while back I began writing a trilogy of Myst Fanfiction novels that take place between Revelation and Uru: ABM. The first novel begins only four months after Revelation.
[spoiler=Prologue]Atrus sat at his desk in Tomahna, carefully eyeing a large and well decorated book. He had thought many a time about opening up its cover and linking into the Age within, but had never executed the thought. Each of those times, there had always been one other event that had prevented him from leaving. This time however, was different. This time there was peace.
"Every time I try to enter this Age, my plans have been tuined by an unfortunate event. First, Saavedro had taken the Releeshahn book hostage. Then Yeesha was kidnapped by her own brothers, of all people, which lead to their deaths. Now is my only chance to visit this Age. Now is the time." Atrus thought as he opened the cover and stared nervously at the picture.
With that thought, Atrus placed his hand on the linking panel and vanished from Tomahna.[/spoiler]
