You're not talking about the KI light, are you? Because that's been available since Scars.

Unless you're saying it's been fixed, or there's something else new entirely there.

Indeed. [spoiler]I also scanned all the dark areas of the room to see if there was anything hidden there, but no luck. I have a feeling something might be added later on this week though... (just a hunch, I have no actual source for this)[/spoiler]

I was able to get into Tetsonot fast enough to run around for a few seconds by KI-light.

Nothing new visible, but it's possible.

Last time I timed the light was an hour ago. I timed it with a stopwatch and it lasted about 60 seconds.

Well, that's a vague improvement....

Maybe it'll get slightly less broken each episode

Edit: Although I suppose, now that it's a minute rather than just a few seconds, it is enough that it could be used for some sort of puzzle. Hmm.

My current theory/guess is that the light will get more and more fixed... until they are ready to let us walk down to the bottom of the shaft. It's like a progress bar.

I don't think the light makes any different as far as walking down the shaft goes. The path is broken and that's why you fall. If they fix that, then you'll be able to walk down there regardless if you have a light. But I don't think there's going to make us walk to the bottom since there are rails set up to put in an elevator. I think the "DRC" will install a lift when they want us to get to the bottom. It won't be for at least another 6 or 7 months because the bottom of the shaft leads us to where we start in Myst 5 and they don't have legal rights to reissue any of that material yet. People are hoping for Noloben but I know the rights to it and the other Myst 5 ages are caught up in legal issues. It would be nice to be able to incorporate more of the old Myst ages as this game and the community grows. Perhaps a trip to the original Myst island and connected ages could be something we might get within a year.

Anyone besides me notice the ki light swinging at the end of an invisible avatar arm when running in first person? Too funny!

Probably so that Engberg could make his disappearance, and so that we would have access to the KI light. Who knows? Since Watson and Engberg have both made dramatic exits there, perhaps it will turn out to be an important place. We'll have to see.

They should involve normal people like us to go on these special missions. Or the Bahro can slowly take some of us to different Ages, Watson and Engberg can come back and take some of us to where they are, and people should one day be allowed to enter a random age. This would stir things up.
