I'm having this same problem with two of my avies. Last I tried I hung on the spinning book for about 15 mins.

After returning to A1 inside the tower, I attempted to climb the ladder to the left of the wheel. I fell though the graphic structure, but stopped as if looking out through a port hole. Then the game freezes and you cannot use your Relto book to get out. I BUGGED it.

It's a camera zoom, not a fall-through. Press down-arrow to climb back down the ladder and the camera will rejoin your avie. It happens on all three ladders.

I was below the plane of the graphics, that is I could see up from under everything. I don't think this was intended. The down arrow didn't work nor did anything else except the sign off. So I did and sent in the bug with a sreen capture.

Went tp Phil's Relto last night. My KI got really messed up upon arrival. My neighbors list went empty, my buddies list went ???????. I could not open big KI, or access my relto book to link out. Another explorer showed up but could not see me, only saw my text as being from "Anonymous Coward".

I jumped off and instead of linking to Relto, I just floated there in the fog. Logs dumped.

Yes, that's how it happens. Heh, yes, certainly not intended. Press the down arrow until the camera will slowly zooms back as you climb down the ladder.

Not necessarily. I had the camera "fall" and it couldn't get up!

Yeah, if you let the camera fall all the way until it stops, you can not get a "climb down" cursor. You are toast.

My guess is when in the control room and you use the stone to the lower cave, there is no finished lower cave for the game to load. I did not have the patience to wait 15 minutes...but if nothing happened by then, it tells me the game could no find the destination, and there is no error out mode.

It's a bug. There's no reason to wait for longer than the age details take to load.
Yes, it's a hang. You have to Alt-F4 out.

Linking in to Ahnonay Cathedral from the Nexus does an interesting "slow reveal;" the graphics load in over a black background in stages as you approach the pedestal.

The four spheres when seeing from Kadish's office are very unrealistic. The same mistake like careless modeling of space-ships in sci-fi films. A 1 foot model can turn back in a few secs. A real spacaship can't 'cause everybody would die because of inertia. . When a model is magnified it must be slowed down. A soccer ball can be rotated in 2 secs around its axis. A sphere 500 feet in diameter cannot because it would fall into pieces.
