URU Holiday

I would like to take this opportunity to officially suggest that we finally make February 4th an official URU Holiday!

Seeing as how so many good as well as bad monumental events have happened on Feb 4, I think it only makes sense that we officially celebrate it!!

Why celebrate an announcement? You could arrange for a period of mourning on the 9th if you want to mark something significant.

The date of February 4 seems to be a "Nexus" for Cyan and Uru Live with a date that has seen two cancellation announcements with huge impacts and consequences for the company. I'm hoping the confluence of events will bring redemption and a future to a date that really needs some better memories. The Laxman post was perfectly on time.

Things do seem to happen to Uru a lot in February, some of them not near as hopeful as this is....

I am torn, though, should we celebrate it Feb 04?
Or Feb 05, when Marie and Kodama said "see you in the cavern on Saturday"?

Or wait and see if we get some form of Uru live during this month? Before Feb 28? Such as if the cavern opens for us next weekend, then Feb 13 or 14 would be neato...

But then again, I would love to get the taste of all those other, bad Februaries out of my head.....

Uru Phoenix Day!

Feb 04 , 2011, we all celebrate Uru Phoenix Day by dressing in the colors of fire, and someone will need to play the appropriate music on some podcast....(that song "Light My Fire" by the Doors comes to mind

Cartainly there are other dates to celebrate, but the 4th of Feb does seem to be a crutial day in URU history!
