Used to be that whenever anything important happened in the Cavern a Chat Log would get published.

Do we still have Chat Logs?
If so;
How do we use them.
How do we get them for publication elsewhere?

Chat logging is still functional. :) We just haven't seen any recently because, well, nothing's been happening recently.

All you have to do is type /startlog to start logging. Type /stoplog to stop logging. Every message received in between will be stored to a file in My Documents\Uru Live\Log.

When AGAIN opened Jamey, I think, posted the chat log of Rand's visit. (And a couple of others edited and posted copies.)

We have an Uru Chat Log Formatter...

The big thing to keep in mind about chat logs is that Uru will only save 3 or 4 of them (I forget which). After you get to Chat.3.log, the game will overwrite your Chat.0.log file, and then your Chat.1.log file, and so on, so be sure to back up your chats as you go!
