I switched too. Although I have a coupon for 3 free month of GameTap (won during Mysterium), I paid in full this time. Maybe next year I'll use it, if allowed :)

I don't know Ayli, when I called them asking about that coupon, I was told it could only be used for a new subscription and since I had already subscribed, it was to late for me to use it.

Okay, here comes the international Uru Live support. Terrific. I will definately become a GameTap subscriber from Canada on October 17th. Good work Cyan and GameTap and all the loyal fans.

I've heard that the GT client is a resource hog, but I should support the people who helped make URU possible.

Thanks RAWA! That's a great deal. I changed my plan to the annual from the monthly. A very nice savings. Happy Birthday Game Tap! :D

Yay! It is such a nice surprise to know that next week I'll be able to join Gametap(canadian myst fan here)!

Thank you very much Gametap and Cyan. Of course I would have paid the international price if Canada would not have become a part of Gametap but honestly I love old games so Gametap as a whole(even without Uru) is something I would be interested in.

I'm still not in beta but knowing I'll be able to keep myself busy with Gametap games makes my a happy man :D

I haven't found it to be a hog while actually playing. Once you start a game, the client pretty much goes to sleep. While you're browsing games and such, though, it can be kind of in your face.

Thank you for the "heads up" concerning this offer. I signed up for it as well (I was on the monthly plan before now). Now I just have to wait until the holidays for Uru! :D

Thanks RAWA for the heads up. I had signed up for the annual price of 6.95 a month acouple of days ago, but I resigned up for the new annual plan that is 50 percent off regular price. Instead of the $84. something, now it will be the $59. something price a year. Great savings and also able to support Uru Live. Thank you again. I'm glad to hear the canadians will now be able to join the gametap family.

Aprently when it runs its quite a resource hog, but when running games it minimises and lets go of all of the resources.
