Helpful tips
If you find that the colour scheme of a forum makes it difficult to read, you might be able to switch it to an alternative design via the Board Preferences tab on the User Control Panel. To change a wiki design, log in to the wiki, then select 'My preferences' and use the 'Skin' tab. 'Prosilver' is a good option to choose for legibility.

By the way, if you have a group you would like to add to the above or if you see anything that needs updating, please note it below and I'll edit the list. Thanks!

Hi Dot,

Thanks to Nalates, extra infos for the Guild of Cartographer can be found at the next link...
http://mystonline.com/forums/viewtopic. ... 942#361942

I was thinking of adding dates for the creation of modern Groups, Guilds or organisations when possible.

Quote:
The great Guild of Cartographers of Uru was formed as a hobby in the LIVE era, November 2003 to February 2004. The initial impetus for forming was from Pa'trick The Futographer. He eventually was informally elected as the Guild's first Grand Master.
confirmed January 21, 2004.

Thanks, Artic Wagon. That is very helpful. I've added the link you suggest.

I agree it would be good to add some history background links to the guilds and groups. Suggestions welcome!

One of the things I've thought of doing in the past is trying to compile histories for some of the groups myself (with their permission and help, of course), and adding them as journals to some of the fan-created ages.

Corrected the history link for the Guild of Cartographers at AW's suggestion (thanks, Artic Wagon!).

Removed link to currently defunct Alternate Worlds, which suffered a serious server crash in January 2011.

Added links to Devokan Trust forum and Norfren's Uru glossary for fan-created Ages

My thanks to the forum mods who have moved this thread from the old guilds subforum... It was a nice surprise!

I've expanded the entry for OpenUru and deleted a stray [/url] tag at the end.

Please take time to review the groups listed here. If there are any links that need adding or updating, do post details below and I will update the main list. Thanks!

Thank you Dot!
I have forwarded your message to the Guild's leadership, to amend it if they find it necessary. I am a mere sympathiser on GoSleep, not a member. :)

Thank you to Rock for suggesting us and to Dot for adding us to the list, all the info looks fine.

Re: Guild of Sleepers leadership ... our motto is Equal among others, and we really do uphold that. We don't have any leaders of the guild, but as a co-founder, I do understand why I am considered a guild leader.
