After my Arch-Nemesis went a bit nuts and detained me during the whole bomb thing, I decided to try and track him down.

Well, as luck would have it - I've stumbled upon a lead! I've found his neighborhood! The place is a mess...junk scattered all over the place...and a box of donuts in the auditorium. Anyway, most amazingly I found one of the prototypes of the very bomb that gave us that scare a couple of months ago!

Now, don't worry...I checked it over THOROUGHLY and have determined that a) there is no explosive charge and b) it lacks any kind of proximity sensors. I was able to walk right up to it and it had no idea I was standing there. But when I touched it - well, it didn't like that very much. It yelled at me. Very disconcerting!

I haven't tried it myself - but the codes used to deactivate the bomb back in Ae'gura should also work on this prototype. However, I have a feeling that it might just start counting over again. I think this prototype is in some sort of debug-mode that keeps it in a loop.

Anyway, with a few swift kicks to the nexus, I managed to get the neighborhood listed there. So everyone can visit now. I guess my Arch-Nemesis will have to find a new lair!

I'll leave the bomb running there for a while. It's kinda fun playing with a bomb you know can't explode :) Enjoy!!!

OHB, you're SURE it can't go off? Because, you know, you can't trust AIs. They're sneaky.

I dunno. I'll stand over here -- YOU poke it!

As far as I can tell, my Arch-Nemesis a) hasn't been to his lair in a while and b) doesn't read these forums. So, I'm going to risk it and leave the BOMB running over the weekend to let everyone check it out.

If you missed the totally awesome event, now's your chance.

I was there when the bomb first showed up but I couldn't find any good recordings of all he said. I know what he says is from the game Starship Titanic but can't find any video or sound bits of the bomb. I wanted my brother to hear all the funny things he says. Can someone tell me the triggers for him to say the funny lines?

A few things:
1. Getting close to it
2. Saying bomb in the chat
3. Poking or doing other things to it (eg. /me pokes BOMB)

Just explore and play with the entertainment that is BOMB!

Don't forget to tap the glass =D

This prototype won't do anything just by getting close to it, mind you =)

So THAT was what had everyone freaked out awhile back...or at least a version of it. Y'know, with no risk of detonation, it was just waaaaaay too much fun taunting the thing. I almost felt bad for it.

Almost. :D

A bunch of us were playing a heek game next to him, and Cal got especially friendly with bomb every time he lost by throwing various things (including the table itself) at BOMB.

Finally got to see the BOMB today. And, yes I taunted it, poked at it, and even tapped on the glass. Thanks for the fun, OHB. Oh, and I liked the message your arch nemesis posted on the imager, too.

poor BOMB lives to be eternally tormented... what a miserable existence...
... good for us... bad for it... :P

perhaps it would be more merciful if it's fate was to explode... sad nonetheless, it's like an evil curse or something...
... and i thought Marvin was a sad story...

oh for goodness sake just lemme reach one so i can count sheep in that great relto in the sky!!
... too bad he just ends up starting from the top...

thanks OHB!! :D :D :D
for giving those of us who missed out on the BOMB event an oppertunity to see it in action!!
... i know i've had my fair share of fun with it!! :D :D :D

Alright! Labor day is almost over and I bumped the hood one last time! This is your last chance to see the BOMB! Once the hood scrolls off the list...it's gone!
