I noticed today that there are two mantainers marks in Gahreesen. One outside the main structure and another in the room with the Bahro stone before the KI dispenser. Any ideas why? Are there more than two?

I believe the first one by the bahro stone is actually just the top of one of the markers. In the offline version you could push it around, but with the new physics engine it is impossible to do so.

I found one hat was push-around-able. there is also a corner with lots of stationary ones.

There is also a mantainers mark on the small "decoy island" in Gahreesen. If you ride completely around on the Entrance Security Building (the first building you are in), you will see two islands you can easily jump onto - 1) the one with the Cloth used to jump to the main Gahreesen building with the meeting rooms and The Wall - 2) and a small one with the maintainers mark on it. It's a "decoy island" because you can only leave it by Relto book linking.

what they said. read the report on gahreesen and it describes that room as a storage room for spare parts. the maintainers marker there seems to be a cap just left lying around. there is another maintainers marker there with the below ground shaft still attatched. and yes, PhysX makes it difficult to kick online now but the cap is easily kicked offline. the marker seen on the other rock pinacle is gahreesen's functioning GZ marker.

Are "maintainers' markers" those orange lights you see embedded in the ground in some places, such as Eder Delin and Teledahn? What's their purpose? :P

a. Yes
b. They serve as a makeshift Great Zero on other Ages

I've been able to kick around the one with the shaft on it.

Does that mean that other ages have accessible coordinates?
For instance, are the coordinates that I see for markers on other ages when I'm in the cavern based on the Maintainer marks?

Negative. Ki coordinates only appear in cavern locations (excluding bahro caves i believe but i could be mistaken)

The GZ is *supposed* to function outside the cavern. my thought is Laxman never restored the "lattice" to function outside the cavern though. we can still place maintainer markers and chat and send files between Ki's but coordinates only appear in the D'ni cavern (excluding the Decent too i believe)

The Maintainer Markers found in many of the other D'ni ages seem to me to act as beacons or registers for the GZ on Ae'gura to hone in on. btw, does anyone know the location of Minkata's GZ Marker?

I believe it's located in one of the Kivas but I'm not sure.
