Yeah, that would be nice. Some of us have two computers, side by side, just for that purpose.

Chogon has added some code changes on OU in preparation for testing and the impending update to MOULa. Most notably to users, part of the Minkata sparklie fix and a Donate button for the client. Devs will be interested in the Localization Editor.

The OU forums are a bit wonky right now, but the shard is up and testers can collect the Minkata sparklie, now.

Got it up and running. Only problem was a descent failure but I don't think it would have been different in Moula, as the descent is weird anyway.

The registration process is overly complicated (IMHO). With multiple levels of registration, and several emails, with codes galore (ok, not actually that bad). I wanted to post on the OU forum rather than here. But although I am registered for the game, apparently I am not registered for the forums. Simple solution would seem to be to register for the forums first, then dl the game from the OU forums and have both issues solved at once.

You have reached the level of my confusion with the overly complicated process.

SO what do I need to do to post on the OU forums?

Register on the forums and join yourself to the Members user group. These instructions appear at the top of every forum at OU:

The requirement to join the Members user group is the same as joining the Explorers group to post here on MOULa, except you can do it for yourself on OU without needing a moderator to do it for you. Both here and on OU, user group membership is used to prevent spam.

You do not need to register on the forums to use the OU Minkata shard. Problems, bugs and suggestions can be reported to our help desk without any registration at all:

A Stress Test of the Minkata shard has been set for Saturday, February 18th, from 12:00 to 15:00 KI time.

For the first two hours of the test, ALL of the sparklies will be activated and testers encouraged to collect them all to get Relto fireworks. The second part of the test will be a party in the city with music provided by D'niJ Ktahdn. If the server hasn't irretrievably crashed by then, rarified will instruct provide instructions for further testing.

Hey, I just created a news post on the GoMe site for you. Hopefully, Leo will approve it in a few hours.

I completely forgot about the Stress test until tonight...I wish someone had PM'd me as a reminder to create the news post sooner! My apologies for my inattentiveness!!!

An additional reminder: If you havn't logged into Minkata for a while (last week), you will need to make sure you have updated your Minkata client files from your MOULa files as described in the most recent update notice. If you don't update those files you won't be able to log into Minkata.
