:!: UPDATE :!:

I have created a completely new and improved version of this font! Enjoy D'ni Numerals II.

Example:
Image
RECOMMENDED: See the preview on Fontstruct.com before you make a final judgement on this font.

Okay, that's sort of a bad preview because the font is not pixelated, as it appears above; the fault is in the program I used. For a better, interactive preview, go here: http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/764282 One can also download the font from this link. If you want it from my OneDrive (formerly called "SkyDrive"), go here: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=482473739B51AD3E%21139

Improvements
  • Uniform line thickness
  • Larger size*
  • Rounded bowing for the arch that appears in two, ten and more.
  • Public Domain license for your convenience!
  • A=1, Y=25, Z=0. :)

* The reason why the other font was so ugly is because I focused on now it looked in the smallest font size (i.e., pixel size). This one is meant to look good in all sizes. I hope you all agree. Here is a comparison to the older version:

Once again, the download location are ...

OneDrive: https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=482473739B51AD3E%21139

Fontstruct: http://fontstruct.com/fontstructions/show/764282

I hope you enjoy this font and keep exploring.

-------------------------------------------
For the first version of this font, read below.
-------------------------------------------

I have created a font for the D'ni numerical system using fontstruct.com.

A is zero, N is thirteen and Z is the single-character form of twenty-five. Please leave any questions in the comments.

Download from Skydrive: http://sdrv.ms/VONgL8

(Thanks, nonlinear. I didn't think of using the Fontstruct page as a preview. :))

I'd love to see a preview of these before deciding to download them.

A sample can be seen right on fontstruct.com

(at least, I hope this is the right one. It came up on the first page of a search for "numerals" :) )

I don't know what the designer had in mind, but to me they have an industrial, or craftsman look. How cool and geeky would it be to have your home address done in stained glass in this font over your front door ? 8)

Cool! I like the angled-ness of it. I don't like so much how lines at different angles don't have the same thickness, though.

Yes, the angles bother me, too. Alas, this is the restriction that comes with Fontstruct. Please know that I really did try my best on this. :? So far, though, it has worked well for my own purposes.
