D’nipalooza August 4th, 2013!
Summer Music Fest & Cavcon Awareness Party

Coming this August 4th, the International Hood will be hosting a music extravaganza that will feature the cavern’s finest musical talents! The upcoming event will be held in the cavern and will showcase music from many musicians who will be sharing their music, be it original or cover, solo or group, and in many genres.

If you are a musician and would like to participate in this event, please see the requirements below for submitting your music. Your pre-recorded music will be stored on a server, sorted by genre and played in its particular segment. A schedule will be posted so that you may attend and “take the stage” while your music is being streamed. The event will be recorded so that those who cannot attend will be able to enjoy at your leisure. Please contact Edisonrex Ki # 21671071 or his email Edisonrex(@)me(.)com if you would like to participate in this event. Edisonrex will provide you with a password and instructions for uploading.

We are looking for people who would like to host segments of this event as a DJ/Personality. A server is being provided for you to host your stream from. We will be having a general meeting on [to be announced] in the International Hood for all those who are interested in participating in this extraordinary event. D’nipalooza Musician's Requirements

The following is a list of requirements needed from musicians that wish to participate in the D’nipalooza Summer Music Fest and Cavcon Awareness Party. Your information and music must be submitted no later than July 7th so it can be sorted and stored accordingly. The event is slated for July 27th.

> Avatar name and Ki #
> Email (you may want to create an email rather than use your personal account)
> List names of songs, genre of music, original or cover.
> We would appreciate (but it is not required) that you submit a short, personal biography. You can simply state your musical experience and/or tell us about your cavern life. Links to your music on the Internet would be welcomed. Please be sure to notify your band members that you are sharing information.

You can submit up to a 15 minute time slot of music. The number of songs can vary, but the length should be around 15 minutes. You may also want to submit music is different genres.

Your music will be submitted to a private server to be stored and sorted. A password will be provided so that you may have access to the stream in order to upload your music. We will continue to update the Mystonline.com forum in the events topic. Please check in occasionally for updates.
Cut-off date for music uploads and information is July 7th.

Sorry, I have question...Was looking this over for creating a news post @GoMe.

Is there a specific location for this event? (Personally I'd recommend Kirel, as we haven't held anything but the AGM there for while, but that's just me.)

Please advise.

I'd love to be part of this and make some of my music available. I'm not really a 'Personality', let alone a DJ, so the music wil have to do the talking in my case...

They'll be using a service outside of the cavern that anyone can tune in to, no matter where they are.

Hmm! As one of the composers on board "The Cavern Today" podcast I'd love to contribute a few tracks for you guys. Sounds great! I'll talk to the other composers on the team and see if I can't get anybody else interested.

Well, I'm no musician, but I've got a kind-of "DJ voice" because Yahvo knows, I've got a face made for radio. LOL.

By the way, do you think any of these fine musicians would be up to writing a theme song for the D'ni Games? I'd sure love one for a little project I'm working on...
