Since the opening of MOULa in 2010 a lot has happened(examples being, OHBot, the Bomb and the events leading up to the creation of The Fun House), I was wondering if anyone wanted too do a sort of "heritage night" style talk about events that took place from MOULa's opening in 2010 to the percent day 4 years latter in 2013. Now I have had an account when the game opened close to the opening in 2010 but I have missed some of the events so I can't do it alone. Who is interesting in nerrating/planning and who is interested in attending?

(I would be willing to do full narrating for some of the events I was able to attend and pashale for the events I pashally attended) .

EDIT: "technical correction", to account for latter on when I say I missed the opening week.

EDIT: The next event will be Sunday December 15th at 13 Ki time. After that each subsequent event will be announced as a new thread in this sub-form. The reason for this is so that people can contiune to talk about the last event as the next one is planned. Just as there is new thread for teach time the server crashes.

NOTE: The date and time are *NOT* fixed at this time. (you will have a day or so to "rescduel" the event before it's "fixed". (since I'm not sure anyone noticed when I asked which day works best)). Oh and I still have to check our calendar to make sure where not doing anything.

EDIT: For event detials check out http://heritagenight.wordpress.com/

Cool we have servel attendees! I will go into cavern on Sunday or next week (I'm busy all tomorrow) and see who I can "round up".

You know I can probably get more people on-line then in the cavern, given that only a small percentage of people are in cavern at a time. I have also come up with a way to host this on my own(but will be private messing "specail guests") later on.

What day/time would work for people?

Aside from drumming up interest by PSAing in the cavern, one advantage of doing it in a hood is you can get passersby who see a number of people listed as being in a hood and come to see what is up. I like the idea of using the Heritage Night Hood.

Me too, I have already PM'd Calumon about using it. I have also requested to be included as a speaker at the next All Guilds Meeting.

You have? I haven't heard a peep (might be due to the "2" after my username. Going to ask to get that fixed). :P

I shall add you to the list now though, so you're all set! ;)

I still have not got a response of what works for people, I guess you can PM me at the AGM.(All Guilds Meting) Saturday seems to work well for people, how about we set the first meting for Sunday December 15th at 1:00 PM Ki time.

EDIT: Date moved to accommodate Adams event.

EDIT: There is more(I got interrupted by a PM). The events will have a format like this:
- Greatings
- Story by me, a special guest or both
- Q&A/chat about the story.
- A related activity/ field trip

Anyone can attend, new explores to hear stories they mist(I am so tempted to put a pun here) and "seasoned" explores to "take the trip down memory lane".

Also this first event will end with a Q&A for new players.

@Jamie: Just an FYI...The heritage night site still has the 14th posted. Also, can I safely assume 1pm ki-time is 13:00?

(Making up the news post and event ki-mail for later tonight, if so.)

Right I'll fix the site later on. I can't remember my account detials and I have some of them saved on my other computer(right now I'm on my "work" computer).

Yes, I will use real Ki time in the future. Ki time is just Pacific Mountain Time with a 24-hour clock, so the converstion to any timezone/format is easy if know this.

@Jamie: Is this ok? Also the reason i put monthly is because I wasn't sure how often you plan to host the event. As Calum can no doubt verify, don't want to over extend and burn yourself out.

Anys, let me know your thoughts/plans for any edits before I place in the workflow for approval.

Jamie Marchant is excited to announce the launch of new version of the well-known Heritage Night!

Starting December 15th 2013 at 13:00 ki-time, that Sunday will kick off a monthly(?) retelling of the major events which have occured during the history of Uru Live. The focus of the current series will be on the recollections of events as they have occured since the cavern's most recent reopening back in 2010 to the present. The first session of this redesigned Heritage Night will include the following:

- Greetings & welcome to both old and new explorers
- Historical narrative by Jamie Marchant, a special guest, and/or both
- Chat and questions concerning the storyline.
- A related activity/field trip.

Anyone can attend, thus allowing new explorers to hear stories they "myst", while veteran explorers can "take the trip down memory lane". This first event will also end with a Q&A for new players.

Jamie and your fellow explorers look forward to seeing you there!
